Classic Goulash

This was a really good, basic goulash! I made it as written with 2 exceptions - Worcestershire instead of soy sauce (personal preference) and no bay leaves (because I didn't have any). It was really tasty and made a lot! Thank you for the recipe!

Easy Lemon Bars

YUM! I'm not a huge craver of lemon stuff but these are just delicious! I made two small changes per previous reviews. 1) I doubled the filling. Hey, I AM a craver of cream cheese and figured it wouldn't hurt. :) and 2) I added a Tbls of lemon juice with some zest into the cake mix. I might add some more next time just to make it a little more tart but they're yummy as is. Thank you so much for the recipe!! They sure were easy - except for the 2nd trip to the store because I was out of sugar. Haha!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

This was really really good! My only critique would be that it was just a tad too sweet for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I ate it and enjoyed it but next time I'll use just a tad less brown sugar or add just a bit of vinegar. Thanks for sharing! I added left overs to muffin tins to freeze and use for later. :)

Chicken with Stuffing

So yummy! I used more cream of mushroom and seasoned the chix with S, P and poultry seasoning. I also laid the chix on some celery stalks to keep out of the liquid. My chix was not try at all.

Avocado Feta Salsa

This was delicious! I followed others' suggestions and skipped the parsley and used cilantro and added a bit of lemon juice. Otherwise, I stuck to the same ingredients. Delicious!!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

This was a great base to a recipe - I changed it only slightly. I used frozen corn only because I don't like canned, I used 3 small chicken breasts (raw and cubed) because I had them to use up, and then added some cilantro and cumin, s&p for more flavor. I also used, per other suggestions, 1 can chix broth and 1 can cream of chix. It was really good allowed to simmer in the crockpot!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This cake was delicious! I made two "coffee" cakes and one white cake and added 1-1 1/2 extra Tbls of coffee liquor to the coffee liquid to be poured on the cakes. Other than that, I made the recipe as is. Sooo good the longer it sets. Thank you for sharing!

French Toast Bake

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this recipe. It was so very easy. I did two things differently because a) I misunderstood the recipe and b) didn't have nutmeg. I bought 2 small loaves of french bread and then just tore it up into large bite-size pieces to make a "casserole" type dish. Then I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. After I poured the the egg/milk mixture over the bread, I gently tossed it all then let it rest overnight. I didn't find mine to be be soggy at all. It was perfect!

Classic Bran Muffins

These are just what I've been craving!! I'm in my first trimester and these totally hit the spot! I didn't change the recipe at all except in half the batter I left raisins out and in the other half I added some raisins and some craisins.

Pecan Pie

This pie was delicious! I used pecans from my husband's grandmother's tree (they taste soooo much better if you have access to them) and even did a "fancy" design on top. Thank you for the recipe! We enjoyed it very much!

Creamy Horseradish Garlic Spread

While I haven't tried this dip on anything just yet, I'm making it as a topper to my non-trad Thanksgiving Day french dips. I stuck my finger in it right after making it and it was yummy! I can't wait to add the roast beef, au jus and provolone to it! Additionally, at Easter we always have ham and mix horseradish and mayo together. I think I'll have to try this instead! Thanks for posting!

Summer Salad with Cumin-Crusted Salmon

This salad is to die for and has become my favorite salad of all time! All of the ingredients go so well together it's all I can do not to lick the plate. I make two changes to this salad when I make it. 1) add avocado, 2) make extra dressing. Ugh! It's so good!

Scrambled Egg Muffins

These were delicious!! I changed 2 things. 1) added more veggies only because I like a little more crunch, and 2) baked them in "Texas Muffin" pans. It made 8 bigger "muffins" and I baked them for 5-10 minutes longer. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

This is the absolute tastiest thing!! My mother in law doesn't like hot things at all but she'll eat a whole bowl of this if allowed to! The flavor is amazing and I love it with Ritz/buttery round crackers! Thank you for sharing!!
