Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
I am only giving this 3 stars because of the flavor. I marinated the chicken for 36 hours and still didn't taste the hot sauce. Oh well. It was just ok.

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
This recipe was pretty good and easy to make. I didn't use onion or cilantro because my husband can't stand either. The pizza was still tasty!

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
I modified this recipe to bring it up to my Husband's standards...While browning the meat, I added more garlic powder, a dash of ground red pepper and some chili powder. This helped give it a little more flavor. I also used about double the Wors. sauce that this recipe calls for. We love foods with a "kick"! After seeing others advice on covering the dish as it bakes, I did so but pulled the foil with about 10 minutes left.I topped them with cheese (which my Husband said needed to be added to the "stuffing" as well)and baked for the remaining time. I am not a big fan of stuffed peppers but it was pretty tasty and easy to make. I am a big fan of baking things for a while so that I can clean up the kitchen as it cooks!

Hackin Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
I am only giving it 4 stars because I had to modify it a little. First, I used small boneless/skinless breasts because we prefer them. I seasoned them with barbeque flavored spices and baked them for about 10 minutes before adding the barbeque sauce SHREDDED ham and then GRATED cheese. This was a great recipe that my husband and I both enjoyed. I will definitely add this to our "rotation" of easy weeknight dinners.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
My husband was a little skeptical with this one and I wouldn't even tell him how I was going to prepare this. He loves Mexican food and LOVED this chicken dish. After following other reviews about marinating the chicken in taco seasoning first, we found the chicken to be incredibly moist and flavorful. I think that next time I may try to use a peach or mango salsa to add a little sweetness. Serve this over a bed of Spanish Rice and you have a winner!

Beer Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
I served this at a football party and it was just "ok" People said it was just Ranch Dip with a hint of beer...meaning, just eat your ranch dip and stick to drinking your beer.

Apricot and Mustard Glazed Pork Loin

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
My husband, who is an extremely picky eater, gave me strange looks when I brought the ham steak home. But, when he tasted the apricot & mustard glaze this evening, he loved it! The only thing that I did differently was to cook it on the grill. We just moved into a new home and I couldn't find my broiler pan!
