Simple Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
This was pretty good, especially when considering how easy it was to make. I added some milk and a tiny bit of red wine.

Stroganoff

This was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but fast and easy and filling. I did add a can of milk to it after reading the reviews.

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
This was really tasty. I didn't have fresh herbs so I used dried. I would give it 5 stars, but it did turn out greasy, and I didn't use all that much oil. Flavor was great and it turned out really crispy.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
This was very good. Followed the recipe almost exactly, just added a little onion and garlic powder and a couple of dashes Worcestershire. I only made 4 meatloaves instead of 8. Even my 15 month old loved this!

Delicious! I added some vanilla and cinnamon. It took about 5 and a half bananas.

Butter Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Like others have said, this comes out very salty. It had good flavor, but I think I would rather just have a roast.

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
Wow! I could not believe how good these were! My husband and I both loved these. I used a little less brown sugar than called for, but not by much. Following the recipe, I got 20 muffins. Only downside is that I used paper muffin cups and they stuck bad! Will definitely add to my rotation.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
This recipe was incredibly easy and tasty. Like others, I reduced the amount of salt and also added a little taco seasoning. I used them to make beef and bean burritos, freezing them for easy lunches. Will make again!

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
This chicken was very good. I was out of bread crumbs, so I used crushed herb seasoned stuffing. Turned out very crunchy. Served with spaghetti and a salad. Will make again.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
This was excellent! I had a pound and a half of beef so doubled the sauce recipe. After reading the reviews I added a few dashes of worcestershire, and replaced some of the ketchup with bbq sauce. Will definitely make this again.

Spicy Beef Vegetable Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
I am only giving this recipe 3 stars because, although it is a great base recipe, it is VERY bland as written. I started by adding tabasco and a dash of ground cayenne, but it was still missing something, so I added cumin. I ended up adding more tabasco, and cayenne and taco seasoning. The result was tasty, but I wish I had added it from the beginning.

15-Minute Dinner Nachos Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
I was very suprised at how good this was. I added a cup of frozen corn, and left out the picante and lettuce. You can also sub pasta for the rice and it is delicious.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Delicious! Used an extra clove of garlic, pepper, and parsley. Also, I used Sargento's Romano, Asiago, and Parmesan cheese blend. They were even great the next day, and my baby loved feeding herself them! :)

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
This was delicious and easy, great for a weeknight meal. I used Swanson herbed stuffing, crushed up, instead of the bread crumbs, and increased the oil. Served it with spaghetti, mmmmm mmmmm!

Pumpkin Chip Cookies

These cookies are excellent. They are not too sweet and the pumpkin and chocolate compliment each other wonderfully. They have become a regular in my christmas cookies. Thank you for the great recipe!

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
This is an excellent recipe. Of course I cahanged a few things, but not much. I followed many of the reviewers and used taco seasoning instead of chili powder and added pepper. I also used cheese inside the tortillas as well as on top, and I only used a few spoonfulls of the soup mixture on the bottom. Will definitely make this one again. Delicious!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
Fast, easy, and tasty. What could be better for a weeknight meal? I omitted the salt, and increased the water to 2 cups. The broth is great for gravy and tastes wonderful with mashed potatoes or noodles.

Fettuccine Alfredo with Ham

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
This was very easy and tasty! I made the cream sauce just as the recipe states, but I also added some stuff. I sauteed garlic, mushrooms, the ham, and spinach with black pepper, italian seasoning, and basil. I also added an additional 1/2 of cheese (I used the 3 cheese blend) and 1/2 cup of pasta water. It was delicious but it made a ton!!!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
This was delicious! I followed the recipe almost exactly, all I added was black pepper, garlic, and a quartered onion. After taking out the meat, I strained the juice, and put it back in the crockpot with the sliced beef. I let this sit just long enough to toast the bread. Topped with pepperjack cheese! Yummy!!!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
This is a great chili recipe. I did make a few changes. Instead of tomato juice, I used two cans of diced tomotoes with celery, onion, and peppers, this allowed me to substitute the pepper with diced green chiles. I also only used a 15oz. can of tomato sauce. Turned out thick and delicious!!!
