Breakfast Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
It wasn't bad but not as a expected. Although the fried cheese on them was good, it made it very hard to separate them. They were too bready and not attractive. Probably won't try again even though they taste good.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
We really enjoyed this. It was something different, refreshing, and delicious. My 3 year old took one bite and said, "I like this food you made, Mom, I'm going to eat it all gone!" It's going into the rotation. I loved the way the pasta was cooked. I think I'll even make pasta like that and serve it alone as a side dish sometime. Loved it!

Quick Lemon-Berry Trifle

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
It was very good fresh. The Nilla Wafers get soft, but not gross. The leftovers were not appetizing. Make sure you drain your berries before you use them.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Don't use this recipe if you are planning to sculpt anything with it. This is extremely greasy. It all worked fine, my cake looks fine, but it didn't go as planned. I made a "party hat" for my turtle cake 2 days before I made the turtle and the hat never dried properly. I was even able to crush it and resculpt it. It was a little crusty, but you can't tell in the finished product. If you are just going to put it over a cake and add a few "decals" like the recipe photo, then this is fine, but it really wasn't what I expected. You are supposed to be able to make something like a ribbon out of it and let it dry and it should be hard after a day or 2, not this recipe. Just be warned.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
I like plain scones, but these taste like sugar cookies when they are plain. If you make them plain, reduce the sugar.

White Chocolate Cream Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I am reviewing the frosting only. I omitted the almond extract and used 1 cup of white chocolate chips. It was probably too much chocolate, but the frosting was good. It tasted just like white chocolate (which is what I wanted). I was afraid it was going to set up/dry hard, but it was just fine. If you are looking for a way to make frosting taste just like white chocolate, use this recipe. Just make sure you frost the cake soon after you make it. The chocolate makes it hard to spread when it's cool.

Man-Lovin' Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
We loved this recipe. I made it for a large family dinner and it got rave reviews from everyone. We used light mayo, cheddar chease, and fresh garlic instead of the garlic powder. It was just like eating a loaded potato. We will definetely be making this dish again soon.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This was very easy and the best pumpkin cheesecake I've tasted. It is great. It does make more than a 9" pie. Make extra crust and make two 8" pies. We loved it as is. We won't be changing this recipe at all.
