Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 9, 2013
Halved the recipe and excluded the walnuts and chocolate chips because I didn't have them and seriously...this cookie was insanely delicious. They werent too flat either. Next time I will make the whole amount and bring them in to work because this deliciousness is too good not to share.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Awesome!!! The only thing different I did was to add the sauce (sweet baby rays) and then let it cook for another hour (7 hours total). Restaurant quality! So easy too!

Pistachio Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
Excellent. I made no changes to the recipe. I did add a powdered sugar glaze to give it a little added sweetness and that made it perfect. The cake didn't fall, was VERY moist and I liked the color a lot. Oh yeah, I may have added a tad more almond extract to make the taste pop. I added almond extract to the sugar glaze as well. Overall, excellent recipe. I would definitely make it again.

Chicken In Basil Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
awesome!!! everyone in my PICKY family loved this recipe. The only change I made was to double the sauce recipe. I wanted to be able to saturate my chicken in it. I had leftover and have been using it on some leftover pasta. It warms up really well and taste great on everything! I will make this again.

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
Super yummy especially if you're looking for a chewy brownie recipe. I did add a 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and I excluded the nuts and powdered sugar. I also had to cook the brownies for 30 minutes total. I will probably never buy a boxed brownie mix again!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This dip is super yummy. I used fat free cream cheese and the Franks Red Hot. I made the mistake of using fat free chedder cheese. NVERVER again if the recipe involves cooking the cheese. The top layer I used it for was inedible. I had to peel it off and it pulled off in one peice. GROSS. I also used a rotisserie chicken . This recipe was best served with celery. The fritos and chicken crackers were TOO salty. It tasted even better cold.

Baked Pepperoni Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
This was to die for. The key is to personalize it though. I used a different brand sauce that I had in my cabinet and since the jar was 22 oz, I added an 8 oz can of Hunts tomato sauce. I also used turkey sausage instead of beef and used about 1 cup of mozzorella because that's all I had. I used an 8 oz bag of egg noodles that I had on hand as well. I added some italian seasoning to the sauce before I added the pasta and cooked it for 15 minutes because I had half the amount of cheese and didnt want the egg noodles to get mushy. It had SO much flavor. I will definately make again.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
I had randomly bought a package of fresh cranberries and needed to use them before they went bad. I chose this recipe because it seemed simple and I had all the ingredients on hand. I excluded the walnuts because my daughter has a nut allergy and I didn't have any on hand either. Otherwise, I followed the recipe as written using fresh orange zest and it came out pretty good. My picky husband loved it. I thought it needed a little extra sugar and a little less cook time. I also found it to be somewhat dry but after wrapping it in saran wrap it became more moist.

I made this recipe and it was insanely delicious. I didn't add wine or brothto the cheese sauce because I didn't have any but it was still excellent! I used precutthin cut breast fillets. Six came in one package. I ate all of them within two days.

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
This was a great recipe but I did tweak it based on previous suggestions and added 4 oz of cinammon appleasauce, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp cinnamon. I noticed that when the muffins were warm, they stuck to the paper wrapper but when they were completely cooled, this wasn't an issue. I also topped each muffin with a little bit of brown sugar. they taste GREAT!
