French Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
I love this recipe! I thought it was slightly too onion-y as is. I used a small vidalia onion and it could be that "small" means different things to different people. In the future when I make this again (which I intend to do instead of buying) I will start with a quarter of an onion and add from there.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
I made these for my daughter's preschool graduation picnic and they are SUBLIME! That's not a word I normally use. However, they somehow managed to stick to my guaranteed-not-to-stick airbake non-stick cookie pans. That's alright, though, because the broken ones don't have any calories, right? RIGHT?

Baked Haddock

Super yummy exactly as written. Do yourself a favor and be sure to line your baking pan with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
This was totally yummy! The kids scarfed it down. Next time I won't bother to do the first step to dredge in flour and brown. I don't think it really made a difference. The sauce seemed to beg for mushrooms so I might try adding those next time near the end. I served with roasted potatoes and steamed mixed veggies. I am my family's culinary hero once again!

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
This was a wonderful meal with a stew-like consistency. I didn't have the beef bouillon at home so just seasoned the meat well with seasoned salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. It was delicious! I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I can't imagine how salty this would have been with 10 bouillon cubes.

Modenese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
Today I was my husband's culinary hero! I had apple cider at home so I used that instead of the wine and used seasoned salt instead of regular salt and pepper. When the pork was done, I removed them and thickened the sauce with a little corn starch. Served with roasted potatoes and steamed veggies. I highly recommend!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
I made this tonight for a guest and it was out of this world! I nearly doubled the sauce recipe for 6 breasts and served it with bow tie pasta. Yummy yummy! It's perfect when you're expecting guests because while it's baking you can clean up.

Cindy's Tasty Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Excellent flavor! As others suggested, I mixed ingredients before tossing with the wings and baking for more even distribution. I turned the temp up to 425 for 10-15 min at the end to brown them. They turned out great, but next time I'm going to try turning the wings about half way through so that the tasty sauce coats both sides well. This is a keeper!!!!!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
This is delicious! It's very easy to make and it turned out to be more like a pumpkin bar. I cut into squares and put them each in a baking cup on a platter for a family gathering. The walnuts add a nice dimension to the flavor, I wouldn't omit them.

Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Yum! I realized half way through that my grill wasn't working so I ended up broiling them after boiling. All I had was cheapo barbeque sauce so I doctered it up with some ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. DELISH!
