Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Fantastic and easy recipe! Sauce was a bit too thin but if you let it sit for a while before serving, you should be fine. Also,to cut down on cook time (and grease), I cut out the oil as the sausage has enough fat and I cooked the onions WITH the sausage!

Traditional Salisbury Steak

I gave this four stars instead of five because I wouldn't call this TRADITIONAL, at least not what I consider traditional. I thought it was alright but my husband LOVED it, which is pretty rare. I will be preparing this again because he liked it so much. If it was just me, I probably would not. Kids loved it as well. I can't pinpoint exactly what should be changed in this. I will probably go back over the reviews to find some suggestions. This is something that can be worked with.

Beef Tips

The ONLY reason that I gave this four stars instead of five is because the salt would have been too much if the recipe was followed to the letter. Fortunately, I had read the reviews before preparing this and did not add salt AT ALL, just the soy sauce. It was PERFECT! Personal choice: we ate this over rice. EVERYONE loved it and in this house, that was a FIRST! It was very easy to prepare. Took about ten minutes to prep and then only had to be stirred every once in a while. VERY convenient if you have children needing help with homework.

Martha's Cornbread Dressing

This was great! I made it last night to test before Thankgiving. I used ONLY cornbread, no biscuits. This required 3 boxes of Jiffy. I only used five eggs (because that was all I had) and I sauteed the onions and celery before adding them. Also, I used a can of chicken broth (a small can). I baked in one dish for 50 minutes. My daughter has NEVER liked dressing before but she LOVED this!!! This is a definite keeper!!!

Salisbury Steak

I have been visiting this website for quite a while and have goten some good recipes and some not so good ones. I actually registered today just so I could leave this review. This was absolutely HORRIBLE! I can't even pinpoint exactly what made it so bad! I think it was a combination of many. I will definitely NOT be preparing this again.
