Cioppino

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
This was awesome - my whole family loved it! I basically halved the amount of seafood, but couldn't find fresh clams so I increased the mussels. It made enough for a family of four (mom, dad, two nine-year-olds) that we'll have leftovers tomorrow.

Italian Holiday Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
I halfed this recipe and served it at a Christmas party with friends. The ricotta made a very nice texture, with good flavor, but we did not care too much for the candied cherries. I think it would be just fine without them.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
This was awesome - we loved it, even me that rarely enjoys soup. I followed the recipe fairly closely, but added a few more spices. I made it one night but kept it in the fridge until the next night and it turned out very well.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

I have to agree with the other reviews; dry with not much flavor. My mom used to make something like this and I'll continue to look and/or experiment.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
This was terrific. It has quickly become a family favorite. My grocery doesn't have pork loins this large so I get about a 2lb loin and roast for 2 hours. I also increase the amount of the glaze so we can add more after serving if someone wants it. My family is not very fond of meats, but they've really taken to this. I plan to experiment with adding cranberries or bourbon to the glaze.
