About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Whole wheat chicken pot pie, fruit pizza, and my cheesy crab hashbrowns.
My favorite family cooking traditions mom and I always used to make gingerbread houses at Christmas time which is a fond memory. Now, my husband and I make Buffalo Chicken Pizza every Friday and that has become one of my favorite new family traditions.
My cooking triumphs
Definitely the Buffalo Chicken pizza and cheesy crab sweet potato hashbrowns were a hit at my house.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a mexican bean casserole which ended up soggy and made me want to gag. Oh, and then there was pumpkin soup, which though I followed the directions exactly, the recipe itself was a disaster that should have been hidden from the public. Then there was the time I tried to make coconut shrimp and almost burned our house down by putting the oil in the skillet on "high". The shrimp turned out great, but it was almost a tragedy.

Sugar Cookie Icing
On the cookies I made, this icing tasted just like the icing on the cookies my Grandma used to get me from the bakery-the almond extract is key.
