Our family calls these Peanut Butter Bars. I left the icing dark, as in your recipe, and decorated them with light chocolate deals. However we usually top them with either melted peanut butter chips or with melted white chocolate chips mixed with peanut butter, and decorate with dark chocolate transfers. (We buy them in The Peppermill, in Brooklyn, but they are available in other shops as well.) For the family, we cut them in bars, but for special occasions cut them with a scalloped round cookie cutter.
