I'm 25 living in Columbus Ohio. I bake and look up recipes all day long living it up before we have kids! I've been married for a year and a half and I'm loving life. My passion is baking and I love cooking for my husband and Impressing him with my made up recipes. I'm from a strong german family and love carrying on family recipes and improving some! I am a vegetarian so it's interesting to make dinner for 2 when ones a meat eater!

Baking my grandma's bread. I am the only one in the family who knows this recipe...
My cooking triumphs
recreating the best steak my husband ever had. When my husband taste something (meat) and loves it I ask him all the flavors he tastes and I try to make it and it usually turns out pretty close! (I'm vegetarian!)

Schlotsky's Bread
I don't know if I did something wrong or if I had a different sandwich than everyone else! This was super dense, not light and airy and crisy, and I could taste th baking soda. I followed the recipe but added more salt. I want that holey crispy light bun!

Homemade Butter
I used local organic grass fed heavy cream and it was awesome!!! I even used the buttermilk to make pancakes! Deeeelish! It only took about 6 or 7 minutes in my food processor. Well worth it! Very easy!

Amber's Sesame Chicken
Wow! I love this recipe. I made this with sesame noodles and my hubs said it was the best chinese food he's ever had! I would def. agree that there isn't enough sauce. I even made a meat free version for myself with "quorn" cutlets and it was soooo good! Thank you thank you thank you! I also put a little corn starch in the flour to give it that extra puffy crispiness! YUM!
