Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
Holy ...this salad was THE BOMB! I added cucumber slices, red onion rings, two tomatoes, a whole bag of Craisins, a bag of honey almond slices, and some feta cheese (but didn't put the poppy seeds). I also put a clove of garlic in the dressing and used Splenda equal to about 1/4 cup instead of sugar. I was told this salad was "slap your mama good" :)

The calorie count HAS TO BE wrong for this recipe. Sounds yummy, but I agree, way too much olive oil.

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

10 stars! I made this for dinner on Friday (day after Thanksgiving) alongside turkey sandwiches. I added my leftover scalloped potatoes that also had Velveeta cheese in it. I received compliments from the whole family!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
Really good chicken soup recipe. I used one package of raw chicken tenders cut to 1/2" pieces. Instead of adding 12 cups of water, I added three cans of Swanson's chicken broth and filled two cans with water (total of 28 ounces). I then added a heaping teaspoon of chicken flavored "Better than Bullion" which can be purchased from Walmart. I also added a clove of chopped garlic and about a cup of leftover cooked rice instead of noodles. It was Y-U-M-M-Y !!!

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
I just made this for dinner and it was sooooo good! I followed the recipe as written, but you need to pay attention to the amounts in the ingredient section if you change it to 4 servings or else you'll end up putting in two teaspoons of garlic powder instead of one! I didn't put any mushrooms in and it was still yummy! Will definitely make this again and it's even good enough for company. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe :)

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
This was a PERFECT blend! I made "ultimate" nachos for a benefit and they turned out great! I used one tablespoon per pound of ground beef and added cheese, sour cream, olives, jalapeno slices and homemade pico de gallo - simply delish!!!
