About this Cook
I'm kind of a private person. :) I love to bake. I hate to grill. I love Italian food!
My favorite things to cook
Beef stew, meatloaf, spaghetti & meatballs, enchiladas, soup, breakfast, and I love baking! Cakes, cookies, you name it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Trying Gramma's recipes, making lots of christmas cookies, cooking for the holidays, and making homemade soup in the wintertime.
My cooking triumphs
Meatballs, pasta sauce, chicken & dumplings, pumpkin roll, a gorgeous apple crostata, panna cotta, Gramma's lemon cake!
My cooking tragedies
A bad cheesy potato recipe I found somewhere. I'll never live that one down. Burning food on the grill!

Baked Kale Chips
This is a very easy recipe. Mine came out perfect, not burnt, at 15 minutes. I ate a ton of them and now I don't think I ever want to see another kale chip least not for awhile. My hubby did not care for them at all, but that's just him. I will say don't use alot of oil, don't let them burn, eat warm, they aren't as good when they sit, and don't overdo it like I did. Thanks for a great recipe.

Zucchini and Potato Bake
I really enjoyed this recipe. I used the small yellow creamer potatoes instead. Delicious. Hubby would have liked less red peppers but still enjoyed it. Thanks!
