Cheesy Hash Browns

A 16 oz container of sour cream is way too much. I made it twice using only 1/2 to 3/4 cup sour cream and it tasted a lot better. Also as written it was kind of bland I also added a very generous shake of seasoned salt.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Use whole milk and at least 6 eggs and I think it will not be as soggy. I also used a little more dry mustard love this recipe.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Made this adding more tomatoe sauce, and used a medium heat picante salsa. Took it to a local chili cookoff...I was one of 25 contestants and took home a 3rd place ribbon. The proof was a scraped clean crock pot. Deb's recipe is easy and delicious. I used 3/4 tsp of black pepper instead of a whole tsp. The chili seasoning I used is Old Westport.

Baked Mushroom Rice

Made this today. I added 1/2 more broth thinking that 2 cups of rice need 4 cups of liquid to cook.I had to bake it 15 minutes longer than the recipe stated. it was very very good. I added a generous shake of Janes's mixed up salt, and generous shake of ground black pepper. I will make this again. Thankyou for the recipe.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I made these bacon wrapped smokies today. They are delicious. I used dark brown sugar and needed to bake them 10 minutes longer then the recipe suggested. I will make them again.thankyou for this recipe.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

I just made these the recipe was in the family favorites bookbook. I followed the recipe exactly. Very very good I will make them again. My dipping sauce was hot mustard/sweet and sour sauce. I baked them 2 minutes longer than the recipe stated.
