Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
Excellent! My first try at pulled pork and it was easy! I had a 4 lb pork loin roast and I used 2 cans of Mug Root Beer and a can of beef broth and did my own rub of garlic powder and salt and pepper all over the roast. Left in slow cooker for over 7 hours and it just fell off the bone and shred easily. Added my BBQ sauce and very tasty! Great easy way to make pulled pork

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
Very good! I was looking for that extra something in a cookie that has both chocolate chips and oatmeal both of which dh loves, but this gives it a great texture. Followed the recipe exactly except left out the nuts. We love walnuts, so next time I will add some to half of the batch.

Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
Very tasty! Hubby loved it! The only thing I did was the tomatoes were an "italian blend" and I omitted the salt. When I layered the chicken, I also sprinkled 1 tsp. dried basil leaves on top before the cheese and stuffing layers. I will definitely add this to our normal rotation of chicken meals! Easy and quick!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
Very Good! I didn't have problems with mixing the bottom layer like other reviews. My peanut butter was room temp and that might help. If you like peanut butter and chocolate anything -- you'll love these! I followed recipe exactly! I cut for the first time after 2 hours, easily came out of the pan. I will keep in refrigerator...it's summertime!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly! We really enjoyed this! The sweetness of the lemon juice really compliments the soy sauce and makes for great grilled flavor and also makes the chicken a wonderful color! Would make a great main dish to serve guests and WOW them!

Lazy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I followed this recipe pretty closely. I did 1 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. Italian sausage and I also added Italian seasoning to my meat mixture for flavor. Followed other reviews and used about a jar and a half of sauce with another 1/4 cup water to rinse the jar and to avoid the "dryness" others experienced. I liked the how easy it was to layer and not have to boil the ravioli! Yum! I divided this between 2 smaller quart casserole dishes, one for now, one for later!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Super easy and tasty! I didn't really change much except that I added maybe 1/4 cup more quick oats because it just seemed to need more to hold the mini loaves together and then I added a heaping tablespoon more of the brown sugar and a squeeze more mustard just to cover the meatloaves better. Served them with a side salad and butter and herb egg noodles. Yum!

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
Yummy! My boyfriend loved these! It makes a great meal and what I loved was the chips stayed crisp even after baking them. I added more cheese and served them with sour cream as well.

Grilled Pizza Wraps

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
Loved these! we love cheese, so I added more of the Monterey Jack cheese on top of the pepperoni so the tortilla melts all the way through. Very easy to make, and you can change and add other pizza toppings!
