Chicken Pesto Paninis

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
YES! I used a loaf of ciabatta. I cut it in half (pulled out some bread from top half) and put ingredients inside. Starting from bottom: half of the cheese, chicken slices (not diced), onions, peppers, remaining cheese, pepper, and red pepper flakes. i spread the pesto on the top bread and it soaked down into everything. I kept the loaf whole and insert into my large george forman but i had to squeeze it down a bit. it was perfect!!!!

12 oz egg noodles, triple the cheese sauce, 2 cans tuna. In lieu of peas I used broccoli and onion. Garlic and paprika added with shredded cheddar. I did not bake and it was very delicious.

Apple Goat Cheese Bruschetta

WOW! Instead of a large piece of bread, I used a sliced baguette. Yum! So easy and quick but still impressive! Perfect. The fresh thyme is important!

i love this soup, but this particular recipe is simply average and i'm not tempted to eat the leftovers unfortunately. my favorite thai restaurant is much better.

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
YEEHAW! I stuck to the recipe pretty much except I did not add a habanero, and it was plenty spicy. Also, I cooked this in a slow cooker for 6 hours as others suggested. I did add the corn in the last hour but I put the kidney beans in before slow cooking and they didn't get too mushy.

Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
I used 6 oz smoked gouda & 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, very nice combo. I added a sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika to the sauce mixture before adding the cheese. I used regular pepper instead of white and didn't add any salt, the cheese is salty enough. I used 1.5 cups milk. Definitely cover with foil while baking so it doesn't dry out.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
Pretty good. I cooked 3 huge breast halves with the same amount of sauce and 1/2 lb of angel hair. I substituted a can of cream of asparagus soup, since the golden mushroom is made with beef stock, and it came out too salty! I didn't even use the entire can. I'm sure without the soup, it isn't that salty and my boyfriend really liked it, so 4 stars it is. I probably won't make again though.

Caramelized Onion and Gorgonzola Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
very nice! i used 1/2 lb of gorgonzola cheese, i can't even imagine using a whole pound and i like my cheese! made my own dough for the first time which was very easy and delicious! i though 1 onion would be enough for 1 pizza, but caramelizing really shrinks them down and 2 onions is necessary!

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
MMMMMM! i want this all of the time! so does everyone else. i used provolone, asiago, and mozzarella cheeses. texas toast garlic style worked well. i cut the sandwiches to eat in a dip-style. only used a bit of marinara per serving. tomato soup on the side was also good for dipping.

oh my! sensational. except please don't use american cheese on this. i used a cheddar/jack blend. also added turkey breakfast sausage and fresh broccoli. and went with shredded potatoes instead of cubed. with a few cloves of garlic mixed into the potatoes. that's it!
