Spaghetti Pizza Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I also have a similar recipe. I use Alberto's homemade noodles (wide or linguine) 12 oz. I put it in one large round baking dish or two small ceramic pie dishes (one for freezer). This looks more appealing like pizza and I slice it in pizza slices. Children and teens love it. I use a little more sauce than this recipe calls for. If you need a quick meal the meat can be omitted. I use this recipe all the time.

Grilled Balsamic Peaches

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
I made these twice after tasting a similar recipe in Colorado. My husband liked them and made them the second time for my son, wife and grandchildren. The children ages 2 and 4 did not like them but everyone else did. Very easy recipe and healthy. Thanks! I since tried this again planning to serve it with grilled pork tenderloin and bought nectarines instead of peaches (that is all the store had). I could not get the nectarines to split, my husband even tried and we mushed up 2 nectarines so gave it up. Are nectarines harder to split in half than peaches???

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
I made this last eve. We liked it but the cheese all melted out from inside so I ended up putting anoher slice of swiss cheese on top of the rolled chicken. Also I think I will try string & tie them next time, I made the mistake of using colored toothpicks:)

Chicken Flautas

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
These were easy to make and enough for an extra dish for freezer but they were just okay. Don't think I'd make them again.

Followed the recipe just as written, we did not think it was that great.

Mama D's Italian Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
The taste is great but the bread doesn't brown very well. When I make a batch up, I separate it into mini=loaves and refrigerate all but one loaf. Then I have fresh baked bread all week.

Grilled Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
These turned out great & so easy on the grill. I had a lot of company so served some plain, some with cheddar cheese on top and some with the bacon/cheddar on top.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
I made this for Father's Day with baby back ribs. It was too sweet for our liking. My 95 year old Dad gave me a recipe many years ago, will stick with that one.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
I made up my kabobs early in the day and marinated them all day. Used chicken, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and grape tomatoes and grilled them on a grill tray I use for fish. I boiled leftover marinade and used for a dipping sauce. We really liked it and something a little different to serve company. I served with southwestern rice & breadsticks.

Halibut with Zesty Peach Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
I've made this three times now. The first was best because the peaches were in season and ripe. I used the recipe with salmon, it is hard to get halibut here. We loved the extra salsa with tortilla chips so made just the salsa another time as an appetizer. Everyone loved it. The third time the peaches were not as ripened and it was not as good.

Low Fat Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
Imade this exactly as printed. It was too thick and the taste was similar to low fat or fat free dressing you buy which I hate. Sorry, I would not make this again.

Pasties II

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
I'm visiting my daughter who recently had her first child. I tried this recipe twice with ground turkey because she does not eat red meat. They turned out terrific both times. I'd like to make some up and put in the freezer for her. We have lived in the UP of Michigan for many years so have eaten many pasties.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2014
I did not add as much tomatillo salsa, just added until the right amount of hot, otherwise very good. I have been looking for a white mexican sauce that is close to a Poblano white sauce that I get at a favorite mexican restaurant on fish tacos.
