Bev's Chocolate Pie

This recipe was just a disaster. The consistency of the pie itself was not good. The taste wasn't good. The topping didn't even begin to turn out. After researching, I read that you need 1/4 sugar per egg white. This recipe called for 4 egg whites with 1/4 of sugar. There were no soft peaks, and there definitely were not any hard peaks. It was just a mess. Even if I would have left the topping off, it still wouldn't have been good.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Yummy! They came out nice and soft. I let the batter sit in the fridge for about an hour in a half. Rolled into balls on a cookie sheet and flattened them a bit before cooking.

Baked Potato Soup

This recipe is amazing! Everyone who has ate it loves it. I even love the leftovers! I don't put any hot sauce in, but I do add a little bit of Paprika.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

These cookies were SO good! I made them at Christmas time and they were the first cookies to go! I can't wait to make them again for just my husband and I. They were very easy to make too.

Sugar Cookie Icing

The icing tasted good, but it was very hard to spread over the cookies. I put the icing in little plastic baggies and cut a hole in the tip of the bag and squeezed the icing out onto the cookies this way, which worked better than trying to spread it.

Greek Salad III

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

This recipe was pretty tasty! I had trouble getting all of the stuffing to fit into the chicken. So, I put some in the chicken before I browned it. Then I stuffed the chicken as much as I could after it was browned and then put the rest on top of the chicken in the baking dish. Yum!

Easy Lasagna I

I made this type of lasagna before and loved it. I guess this isn't the same recipe. It was ok, it seemed like it was missing something, just not sure what. I think I'll try to find the other recipe I saw in the past.

Cheesy Italian Tortellini

This recipe was good, not great. I didn't slow cook it, so maybe that was the problem. I didn't use the sausage either, just beef. It seemed to be missing something. It was good, but nothing fabulous.

Goat Cheese Pizzas

I thought this recipe was pretty darn good. My husband was not a huge fan for some reason, maybe because there was not meat. I made it for our main dish one night and I loved it. I put on mushrooms, onions and tomatoes and left off the roasted peppers. Yum!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Not a huge pot roast fan, but this recipe was delicious! My husband loved it and the leftovers were even good the next day. I added some baby carrots about an hour in a half before the eight hours was up on the roast and they turned out great! I served with some mashed potatoes. Will be making this recipe again!

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

This recipe was delicious and eye appealing! I used half basil and half oregano. I also used a can of diced tomatoes and I didn't use any hot sauce. I served on whole wheat spaghetti. It was healthy and delicious! Even my picky husband liked it.

Simply Lasagna

Yum! I think I left off a layer b/c my pan wasn't thick enough. I used 9 noodles. It fed a family of five in one sitting. I had no leftovers! I guess that meant they liked it. I did cook the meat with onion and garlic. I love how you don't have to cook the noodles. Great recipe!
