Caramel Bars

These are great. Wish I would've read the reviews before I made them, because I was confused as to how half of the oatmeal mix was suppose to fit in a 13x9 pan. Next time I'll try an 8x8 pan, less butter, and more caramel. I use about a cup of choc. chips too! :)

Garlic Pasta

These really are the best! I used 4 T. of the Bakers Sugar and 4.5 t of the cinnamon recommended on a previous post, and it was great. The more the cin.sugar mixture, the better! 8-9 minutes is good.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

I thought it was good. Very easy to make, although just a tad bland. I did add 2 cloves of minced garlic and used fresh mushrooms. Next time will try adding something else for flavor. Needed 3 hours over low heat. Great over egg noodles!

Spicy Bean Salsa

I loved it. Used 1/2 cup of the dressing and used some fresh lime juice (2 limes). This really makes a lot, so great for parties. Great flavor!

Vegetable Pizza Squares

These are great, everyone always loves them. To save time I used a Ranch packet mixed in with the cream cheese (half of the Ranch packet mix). Make sure the cream cheese is room temp. or at least softened a bit. Oh yes, and use green onions. YUM!

Minnesota's Favorite Cookie

The title of these caught my eye, and I'm glad they did. These are wonderful! I've never used toffee bits in cookies before, and they are delicious. I followed the recipe exactly (except I did not use pecans) and they turned out great. I also used parchment paper instead of greasing the cookie sheets. The dough was really soft so I was worried at first, but it firmed up after I added all the dough and it sat in the fridge 5-10 minutes. Thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

My family and I loved it. For taste and simplicity it is a 5. I found that it needed around 9 hours, and could've easily cooked even longer. So the longer it cooks the better it is. I added some baby carrots 2 hours before done time. YUM. Will make again. Great over egg noodles with the gravy.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I love this recipe! The first time I made it exactly as stated, and it was pretty good. Then I read some reviews and made it a 2nd time, with 3 mashed bananas, 1/4 t. cinnamon, dash of nutmeg, and 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar. It was MUCH better the 2nd time!! Absolutely loved it with the mashed bananas and extra spices. Next time will try with chocolate chips!

These are really good! I baked in a 8x8 pan for around 25 minutes, and they were definitely done. I added butterscotch chips along with the chocolate chips in the batter. Next time, will leave out the butterscotch chips and use less vanilla. Thanks!

Banana Crumb Muffins

These are really good, and best of all ready easy to make! I used about 1/4 t. cinnamon for the topping. The first time I made these I mistakenly used the brown sugar in the muffin mix (I read someone else did the same thing), but they still turned out delicious. This time I used the white sugar and it's just as good. They baked for about 22 minutes and were perfect. Thanks!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

They're good cookies, but my family and I weren't too impressed with the taste for some reason. There was a certain sweetness missing, and I'm not sure why. I liked the look and the texture of them, though. Nice and chewy. I thought they still tasted good even after a few days.

Chow Mein Noodle Casserole

This is just what I was looking for. Made the recipe as stated, except didn't use any almonds and used a lot more celery. I loved it! I would use about 1/2 cup more rice next time, and maybe try cream of celery. But overall I thought it had a great taste, very comforting.

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is a great cookie!! The expresso powder gives it a wonderful flavor. Love it! Chewy on the inside and crisp on the out. It was a bit hard to tell when they were done, I think they baked for 12 minutes at 350. Thanks!
