About this Cook
Well i'm just starting out cooking. I've never really spent much time in a kitchen until recently. So far so good. Haven't had any bad meals so far. (except one :P).
My favorite things to cook
I love Pasta!!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember help my Grandmother make Tamale's and Flautas. Those were the best ever.
My cooking triumphs
I made spanish rice like my Grandmother used to make, and still does.) I haven't gotten it down completely, but i'm pretty darn close.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made Spanish rice, it was the worst thing ever. it was like bland tomato soup w/ rice. I don't know what I was thinking, but I was pregnant at the time, so I'm going to blame it on the hormones :) anyways. It didn't turn out at all the way i hoped. but instead of throwing it away, my boyfriend decided he wanted to eat it anyway. He still makes fun about it to this day, but I always remind him, that he was the one who stopped me from throwing it away and ate it. LOL.

Florentine Artichoke Dip
This dip was amazing!! I made it for Christmas and everyone loved it. Those reviews that said this was bland or lacked flavor, must have done something terribly wrong because it was packed with flavor. will definitely make this again. I did change a couple of things. I used frozen creamed spinich and only used 2 garlic cloves (still very garlicy). other than that I followed the recipe and it was a hit :)
