Roasted Potato and Garlic Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2011
I served this at a BBQ and everyone loved it. I don't like peppers so I left those out... but it was still great without. :)

Chile Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I would give it five stars for the excellent flavor but the cooking time brings it down. If we had followed the directions exactly I think we would've ended up with pork jerky. We shortened the time significantly but it was still dry. Next time I'll try another reviewer's suggestion and cook for 45 mins at 325, with a foil cover.

Duck Legs in Green Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
This was absolutely delicious! It's definitely a keeper. I'm afraid I couldn't find the kaffir lime leaves and I had to use green curry sauce instead of yellow. We also added some vegetables we had on hand, because it seemed like it would be lacking without. We added carrots, canned bamboo shoots, and some napa cabbage.

Tangy Turkey and Swiss Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
This was surprisingly delicious! I followed the recipe fairly closely yet I did substitute some ingredients. Tuscan bread, canola mayo, and spicy brown mustard. This is one of my new favorite recipes. I'm glad I still have plenty of extra sauce to make it again tomorrow.

Steph's Summer Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
Pretty tasty, though I did take some liberty with the recipe. I used a mix of pastas, spirals, egg noodles, and whole wheat egg noodles, for more of a salad feel. I cooked the broccoli in a separate pan with a thin layer of water. I never boil veggies because it leeches the nutrients. I used most of a fresh lemon and a liberal amount of pepper on the chicken as it cooked in a separate pan. When I mixed it all together it still wasn't strong enough so I added a great deal more pepper, lemon, salt, some fresh cilantro, and a healthy dose of olive oil. Now that's tasty! Next time I'll try cooking the broccoli and chicken in the same pan for a while to mix flavors.
