Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
This one is a keeper! So simple to make and tasty too. I did as another reviewer and mixed all the ingredients together without a blender. Put the steaks in baggy and pulled them out of the fridge after 8 hours marinating. I can eat this one without steak sauce which is unusual. The title alone says it all.

Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I found this recipe so easy to make. I did however read previous reviewers comments prior to making it. I left the white sugar out completely. I only used 1/4 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 cup quick cooking oats and cinnamon for the topping. I wanted more peaches so I used one 29oz can, plus a 14.5oz can. As suggested by another reviewer to solve the liquid/runny solution adding the cornstarch to the peach syrup worked beautifully. Also, I liked the tip about using a grater for the butter...makes it more uniform over the dry cake mix. Lastly, I needed to bake in the oven closer to 55 minutes. Most of all it is ONE pan easy. Yippee! Satisfying like comfort food with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Thanks :)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Neither myself nor my husband cared for this dip. I suppose I could blame part of the reason for this due to the fact that I used canned chicken. It was an ugly, orange greasy color. The blue cheese dressing was overpowering. If you don't love blue cheese then you might prefer the ranch dressing.

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I haven't had any luck trying to make meatloaf. This recipe is a keeper! I wish I had doubled the glazed portion. I handed the ketchup bottle to the family to squeeze on their individual slices. Perhaps next time I will add a small can of diced tomatoes to the sauce. Personal preference only. Otherwise this meatloaf is good.

World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
This potato salad is superior to any other! It is true that this recipe is a bit time consuming, but well worth it. I also cut back on the sugar to measure slightly under 1/3 cup. My only additions to the recipe was sprinkling some dried dill into the mayo portion. As another reviewer suggested I topped the final dish with a dusting of paprika. Thanks Kaye Lynn for this tasty recipe :)

Texas Caviar with Avocado

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I made this to take to a New Year's Eve party. It was scrumptious! I took the suggestion of Kim and used the Wishbone Italian Dressing. I used one can of Bush's Blackeyed Peas and one can of Bush's Black Beans. I was a tiny bit heavy handed with the cayene pepper, so needless to say it was cha-cha-cha Hot! The next time I will use a lighter dusting...lol This recipe was enjoyed by all. Before going home my friends requested a copy of this recipe. Thanks Kim for such a simple, easy, tasty recipe.

Nana's Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
This is a very good recipe. My only changes would be to leave out the sugar. I also buy the Martha White's Yellow Cornbread Mix (it doesn't have sugar) for the prepared cornbread. I also like to add 1/2 teaspoon of poultry seasoning.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
I have made this sauce 2 times already. I am always happy with the flavor of this sauce. It goes well with a variety of beef, pork, chicken or whatever you might select. I agree with some reviewers that making it ahead of time really improves it. I've become addicted to this BBQ Sauce and look forward to those lip-smacking ribs! Thank you Kevin for such a excellent recipe : )

German Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This pie is YUMMY! I was looking for a recipe that would taste close to the pie that I used to buy at Tippin's Pie Restaurant. This one exceeded my expectations : ) I will definitely make this one again!
