About this Cook
I love my bread maker. Bread rocks! I have not really had it for long but I have sure put it through its paces. I especially like how I can just set it up and let it go. I come back later and have fresh bread waiting. That fits my life style well because I don’t want to be one of those people that when invited out by friends responds with: “What?! No, I’m not spending time with you! I’m making bread for crying out loud!”

My cooking tragedies
I was interested in cooking even at a very young age. Remember the Easy-Bake Oven? I had one! But mine was an Easy-Bake Gas Oven and one day I returned from setting the table for a tea party and found Dina, my invisible friend, overcome by the fumes. Tragic.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
This cake is very moist and quite yummy. I like to use the mini chips, they give the cake some extra yum! Thank you for the recipe.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I
This was a very good coffee cake. I personally like lots of berries and a very moist cake so I double the berries and increased the milk to 3/4. Since there was a lot of topping I added some to the middle to add more color. Yum yum. The people at work greatly enjoyed it.

Peppermint Bark
This is a excellent recipe and my first time making bark. I did use candy canes instead of rounds since I had extras in the house. At my husbands request I added about 1/3 tsp peppermint extract to each layer the second time I made it. Yum. Thank you for the great and flexible recipe.
