My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I followed the recipe exact except I had to make my own BBQ sauce because I didn't have any. I made it using ketchup, worch. sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, steak sauce, and hot sauce. Anyways, the recipe is great and my bone-in chops were done in 1 hr. 20 min. They were very moist. I think the star of this dish is the onions actually. They are beautiful at the end of cooking and add an important flavor to the chops so don't omit them!

This was great. I followed the recipe exactly. My husband loved it and so did I and it was SO easy to make. This will become a regular! Thanks for this recipe.

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This was the first time I had made any sort of biscuit or bread. Baking just isn't my thing. But these were SO easy to make and they came out great. The key is to mix just until moistened then fold 8 times just like the directions say. I used a tall glass to roll it out and to cut the biscuits. But they tasted great. And I even forgot the sugar. Will make these again and again!

Kicky Steak Strips with Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
Would not make this one again. Husband wasn't a fan either. It lacked a saltiness. Maybe if I did 1/2 soy sauce and 1/2 worc. sauce it would have been tastier but it lacked kick either way.

White Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
Husband and I both liked this a lot. Not too salty for us. We put pepper jack cheese on the sandwiches and it was really tasty. So easy - I loved that the most.

Mushroom in the Middle Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
Not a fan. Neither was my husband. It was undercooked by about an hour with the cook time and pretty much a pile of mushroom mush and grease.

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
This was VERY easy to make, cheap, and it makes a lot. So these days - that equals a great recipe in my book. I made some adjustments. Added 1 cup of sour cream. Other than that, I followed the recipe. Very good quick meal.

Eskimo Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
I will eat almost anything but these just weren't very good. I had to keep them in the fridge for 24 hours just so they had some shape to them and weren't balls of mush. I won't make these again. I'd much rather just make no bake cookies.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
I lightly browned like other suggested. I added a little of this and that (A1 Steak Sauce, Tabasco Sauce, a bit of soy sauce). I think next time I will do more A1 and less ketchup so that it will cut the tanginess of the ketchup. And I will add a little more tabasco to add a spicy level to it. But it was very moist. And I will try to make it again because my husband enjoyed it a lot.

Chocolate Eclair Cake

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
Thought that this was very good considering how easy it was to make. My husband ate it really quickly so I know he REALLY liked it. In the future, I will use pre-made chocolate frosting (will put in microwave for 45 seconds first) on the cake. I didn't think that the chocolate sauce was that impressive. I will be making this again in the future!

Parmesan Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
Was an easy, okay take on regular baked chicken. Very easy prep and my husband seemed to like it okay. It was a little strong on the herbs to be one of my favorites but I am not a fan of tons of herbs. I would probably make it again.
