Spinach Cheese Tortellini

Very good! Used 2 - 14 oz packages frozen tortellini and added 1/3 cup chopped onion. Increased milk to 1 cup. Family loved it - called it "banging".

Apple Glazed Pork Tenderloin

This is amazing! I happened to have only Empire apples, and I increased it to 1 1/2 apples. In addition, I only had Chardonnay, which I think worked out well since the dish is a little on the sweet side anyway. Served this with long-grain brown rice and green beans. The sauce spooned over the rice flavored it wonderfully. I will definitely make this again!

Bottom Round Roast with Onion Gravy

I made this about 2 weeks ago and it was delicious. I only used 2 large onions and sliced about a pound of assorted fresh mushrooms. Added a few sprigs of fresh thyme as well. The only problem was that my roast was too small. The onion/mushroom gravy was delicious with the meat and I made some garlic mashed potatoes to go with this. I will be making this again!

Cream Corn Like No Other

This is delicious! I used evaporated milk for flavor, and 2% milk to help reduce fat content, but let me tell you it was still awesome! My husband and my daughter couldn't get enough! My daughter gave me "strict instructions" that I was to make this for Thanksgiving dinner!

Deer Jerky

This was very good. I didn't have onion salt, so I used about half a regular onion - small dice. Added kosher salt since meat loves salt. Used stainless steel cooling racks and placed them on old cookie sheets to minimize the mess in the oven. Getting ready to make a second batch!

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

I was looking for something to do w/this fish that wouldn't take too much away from the fish itself. Just wanted to "dress it up" a bit. This recipe was perfect. I used cooking wine instead of regular wine but I don't think it made a difference. They turned out very nicely on the grill and my 12-year old daughter just raved about them!
