If you notice from the grain in the scone, I subbed 1-cup of all purpose flour for whole grain flour. I made half of the batch plain and the other chocolate. I used mini chocolate chips here. The normal sized chips tend to fall off and that drives me nuts! These scones are small, similar to the petite scones at Starbucks.
