Creamy PHILLY Potato Leek Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
I followed the recipe at first but found it a little too thick for our liking. I added another 1.5 cups of chicken broth and another few splashes of the Italian dressing. When I served it I sprinkled lemon pepper on the top for an extra kick. Yummy!

Very tasty and easy to make. I also used bagged baby spinach. I used tamato/chipote wraps which gave it an extra zing.

Quick and easy to make and very tasty. They get hard very quickly even when stored air tight. I prefer soft cookies.

Roast Beef Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This is an easy and tasty way to use up my left over roast beef from Sunday dinner. I followed the recipe except I put a dab of sour cream on the beef mixture before folding it up. I think the next time I'll put the roast beef mixture in a baked taco bowl and top with the cheese, lettuce and some sour cream for a change.

Tater Taco Casserole

Very flavourful. I also used only 1 lb. of ground beef but found there seemed to be too muchy liquid. I simmered it for about 15 min. before putting it into the casserole dish to get rid of some of the excess liquid. Will make again.

Bean Casserole

This recipe takes a while to put together. I like the fact that it is very healthy. However, we found it very bland and added a shots of HP and barbecue sauce in our bowels. Next time I will add a few table spoons of these sauces to the recipe. It will also add some needed moisture.

Easy and tasty. I put the wings under the broiler for a few minutes to make the wings a little more crispy. They were wonderful.

Beef and Tomato Pie

Delicious! Great dish to make ahead of time and then just pop in oven when it is time. I made a few changes. Used Bisquick Mix and reduced the milk to 1/2 cup to correspond with their recipes. I added 3 cloves of chopped garlic and 1 tsp. black pepper. Instead of ketchup, I added 1/2 c. hot salsa which gave it a little kick. I sprinkled it with 1 c. Tex Mex grated cheese blend.I served it with a cucumber salad on the side.

Zesty Hot Sausage and Beans

Quick and easy to make especially in the slow cooker. My 27 year old son loved this dish and had three bowels full. My husband felt it was a little too sweet and suggested a reduction in the sugar.
