Quiche Lorraine I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
This was really good, everyone ate it up. I only made a few minor tweaks, I sauteed the onions and only used 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream. I used a store bought frozen crust which made this super easy. I also grated the cheese, cooked the bacon and chopped the onion the day before for easy prep in the morning. I did have to bake for 10 minutes longer then the original recipe called for.

I make this all the time, it is an all time favorite of my families. I don't really change anything, except I add a little extra soy sauce and some fresh garlic.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
This recipe is a favorite of my family, they love it. It is so easy. I have made it with a shoulder roast and a butt roast, both are pefect. The only thing that I change is I omit the cimmamon and sometimes I add a can of diced chillies.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
This was pretty good and easy. I did make a couple of changes. I sauteed onion and garlic first and then instead of cooking chicken, I bought a whole roasted chicken at the grocery store and shredded it up. This was really tasty!

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I thought this reccipe was great. I added onions to the sauce and a little cornstarch to thicken. I also added chicken which was great. I didn't have enough sour cream, so I used half sour cream and half cream cheese.

This was a pretty good meal, very easy to make on a week night. I only made a couple of changes. I seasoned the chicken with poultry seasoning and pepper and I used skim milk in the rice mixture rather than water. The kids ate it up!

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
This is pretty good, however I made some changed. I cooked some chopped onion in about 2 tbsp of butter and then mixed the dry stuffing mix in with that. Also instead of adding milk to the Cream of Chicken soup, I added a cup of white wine. The family loved it!
