Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
I've made this twice this week and it's great. My wife loves it too. I only used ground pork and cheddar cheese (didn't have the others on hand). Also, I added an onion to the slow cooker and various Italian spices. I also used a different kind of pasta since I can't afford Tortellini. With all of the changes it was very simple but very good!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
I make this very often. I follow the recipe but add a package of taco seasoning in the beginning, which adds a lot of flavor. I don't have a potato masher so I don't even bother with that part but they are still great. Usually I just put them over rice and eat. Yum=)

Banana Banana Bread

Wonderful bread. I used applesauce instead of butter, whole wheat flour instead of flour, and added chocolate chips. Will definitely be making again!

Apple Crisp III

Brought this to 2 large gatherings and received many compliments both times. Maybe I'm weird, but I really like eating this refrigerated, as cold leftovers...

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
This is sooo good - turns out great every time. I use 1 can each of cream of celery, cream of chicken, and cream of broccoli. I usually add some frozen veggies and potatoes, but really you can do anything you want and it'll be great!

Scottish Oat Scones

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
These are awesome. I make them at least once a week and my wife eats them for breakfast. To make it healthier, I replace all the butter with applesauce and use only whole wheat flour - they are still great this way! I also add chocolate chips=)

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Wow, this was GOOD. I didn't use vanilla or cinnamon (didn't have) but they are still great. Might add chocolate chips next time =)
