Grilled Cilantro Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
This recipe was easy, quick and extremely tasty. I have 4 children and all of them cleaned their plates; even my husband who doesn't eat seafood ate his portion. A great summer meal!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
These are great for afternoon brunch and/or dinner. I added a bit more hot sauce as we like things a bit more spicy, but other than that, it is a great recipe. As a side note, if you add a little fresh blue cheese to the top, it tastes gourmet!

Pecan Pie Bars II

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
These were just okay in my opinion. I am a big fan of pecan pie, as is my family, but these were nothing like it. They are sticky, chewy, and do not keep long after the day that you make them. I'd say to pass and just make the pie.

Blueberry Turnovers

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
These are amazing!! I can only make them when I am having people over or else I end up eating them all!! I used frozen blueberries and cooked just a few minutes longer and they were wonderful.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
This was fantastic and I even forgot the sour cream. I did mix all of the pasta in with my ground beef and sauce and then layered it with my cheeses and it turned out great. Like another reviewer said, you must keep this covered so that it doesn't dry out. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Autumn Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Took this for thanksgiving and most of it was still left afterward. Make sure that you completely puree the squash, I used my food processor and it was still not pureed enough. It had a very odd texture that was hard to get over. I would also cut the squash amount down to 2lbs as the flavor was almost overpowering.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
As many other reviewers have stated, I too skip the tomato sauce and use green enchilada sauce. I skip the sauce on top for the kids and add shredded taco cheese to the top and bake them at 350 for 20 minutes or so. I have made these for a lot of get togethers and everytime they get rave reviews. Thank you for a spectacular recipe! (one quick note, if you're doubling the recipe, I have found that you really only need to double the beans, meat and enchilada sauce.) Enjoy!

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I skipped the green onions and pineapple, as I'm not a big fan. These kabobs were still fantastic!! I also wrapped some steak with the bacon and the taste was incredible. All of my guests were very impressed, so thanks for a great recipe!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
This marinade was great! I marinated the chicken, some steak, and the mushrooms. I used this recipe along with the one for chicken and bacon shish kabobs. Together, they were amazing. All my guests were very impressed. Thanks for the great marinate!

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I tried this recipe exactly as written for Father's Day and it was awful!! There is way too much nutmeg, so you can not even taste the rhubarb. The pie was also not very full of berries or rhubarb per the recipe. I'll keep looking.

No Bake Double Good Dessert

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I made this recipe as written and it was very rich. You will need to keep it in the freezer: as it thaws, it seems to become even richer. It was very easy to make and I will probably make again in a few months.

Mari's Dessert Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
This recipe is great and very quick to whip up. I have made it a few times now and have even tried different types of pudding in place of the chocolate. (Our favorites are butterscotch and cookies n cream.) We have also tried this recipe using an oreo cookie crust, it is so tasty! As you can tell, we use this as our base and then add whatever kinds you want. Enjoy.

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
These were great! We had a group of teens over and they ate just about every last one of them. They were extremely simple to make, but still tasted like they were from a sandwich shop. Thanks for the recipe!

Championship Chocolate Chip Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I made these bars for a teenage girls group and thought for sure they'd be a hit, but the bars were very spongy and lacked flavor. The topping, though the recipe does not state, I believe would have been better had I melted the chocolate and really been able to spread it over the bars. Needless to say, I will not be making this recipe again.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I have had so many potato soups that I have lost count, but this one is terrific! Instead of using baked potatoes, I cubed and peeled my potatoes and put them into the pot at the appropriate time. 45 minutes later, the soup was done and tasted great with the cheese and bacon on top. At the suggestion of other reviews, I too increased the amount of flour. Will definitely be making again, possibly even later this week.
