About this Cook
Crazy, and fun-loving guy here. I love creating experiences, and often times I find food a great place to start in that process. Love to eat, love to cook; I guess it is a passion born from the necessity to remain alive.
My favorite things to cook
My favorites vary by mood, season, cash on hand, anything really. My two all time favorite things to make are my grandmother's Rhubarb Cake, since I am the only other person she shared it with in our family. I also love making Jams.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The Christmas dinner bake a thon which began almost two weeks before the day and included every cookie, candy and dinner roll that made this tradition special.
My cooking triumphs
My latest triumph was not so much the dish, but the miracle of cleaning the burn dish out of y pot without causing damage to the pot!
My cooking tragedies
APRICOT JAM, SO OVERCOOKED IT WAS LIKE JAR SHAPED APRICOT BRICKS.

Peach Crisp III
This recipe was perfect. I needed something quick, cheap, and tasty that would use up the ingredients I had on hand in freezers etc. The house smells amazing it took no time at all and I am extremely happy with the results. Thanks for sharing

Southern-Style Chocolate Gravy
This meal has more sentimental meaning than anything. This recipe is the closest I have found the one my grandma used when I would get to spend the night as a kid.

Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
I made these for a local luncheon at the senior center my mother goes to. I doubled the batch, and these people were in love with them! Awesome recipe
