Toasted Pumpkin Seeds with Sugar and Spice

This recipe is great. My kids and I couldn't stop munching on these. I took some to my daughters pre-school and they called me for the recipe they liked them so much!! We will be making these again FOR SURE!!

Perogie Casserole

This one gets a 5 out of 5 from our family. Taste is excellent and I, like many others, boil and mash the potatoes to save time. You can do so many variances of this recipe that it never gets boring. I use DRY cottage cheese instead of regular and I use an extra egg or two. I also have used Italian sausage removed from the casing as an alternate for the bacon. This makes it super yummy and flavourful. This is a recipe that is lengthy in preparation so I usually prepare it early in the day when I have the time, and set it aside to be cooked at supper time.

Boyfriend Bait Beef Stroganoff

I give this recipe 4 stars only because it has to be cooked differently than stated in the recipe, unless you like your meat raw. I like my beef rare, but with the cooking outlined the way it is, it would be impossible to have the meat adequately cooked. I sauted the beef as stated in the recipe, but instead of removing it from the pan then returning it at the end, I simply left it in and just added the other ingredients to the beef. I found this very tasty and there were no left overs in my house, which speaks volumes. I gauge recipes by whether my husband or kids take seconds. My husband took seconds, and my kids took seconds thirds and fourths. I used a bit more Shallots than called for, and I would definitely stick with shallots and not substitute onions.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I made this exactly as the recipe says and it was amazing. My first attempt at Chicken Cordon Bleu and my family licked their plates clean and went back for more. This one is a keeper and I will deffinitely be making it again. Yummmm.
