No-Fuss Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
This recipe was very easy. Like many others, I did not refridgerate before baking. I followed the recipe exactly except I substituted Boca ground beef instead of the real thing. It turned out great and the leftovers were even better the next day! I will use a jar of sauce next time though. I was not familiar with the envelope kind and wished I had used a jar.

Blueberry Orange Bread

This is a very moist bread. I would serve this bread with breakfast or a ladies luncheon.

Laura's Unbelievable Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
This dish gets 5 stars for taste and volume. My family of 5 ate this for dinner and again for lunch the next day. The flavors are simple, so if you are looking for a WOW flavor, this isn't your recipe. For variety I will try adding a little lemon juice and maybe chopped onion and julienne carrots.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I have made this twice. Once with turkey italian sausage and once with turkey bratwurst. The turkey bratwurst were very, very good. They seemed to soak in the sauce. My 3 boys don't care for onions or cooked peppers, but they didn't mind them in this recipe. Very easy recipe for busy moms or dads.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
Loved! Loved! Loved! This one is a keeper. With a hubby and 3 boys, it's hard to please everyone. Trust me, nobody was excited about this dish until they tasted it. I followed advise from others and added a little milk and 1/4 cup sour cream. It turned out creamy and moist. I also crushed french fried onions along with the chips for the topping.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This recipe was not only wonderful, but it was fun to make. My husband jumped in and helped me with the layering. :) Here are my suggestions. 1 pkg of spinach was enough, but if you love spinach go for 2. Next time I make this I will cut the chicken into smaller pieces or even shred the chicken. The bit sized chunks I used seemed a little out of place in the dish. I chose to puree the onions instead of chopping and the sauce was smooth and delicious! I will also play with the layering a bit instead of following the recipe suggestions. I also think sauteed mushrooms would be amazing in this dish. This one is a keeper!

Chicken with Lemon Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I tripled this recipe for a large group. There was not much of a lemon flavor. I also added capers and cut out the salt.

Fruit and Yogurt Treats

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
I must admit I did not follow the recipe. I left out the peanut butter and used the fruit that my 3 boys like. They rated it 5 stars! What a cool little treat for breakfast.

Fried Corn with Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
Simple, quick recipe. My local store was out of red peppers, so we just used 2 green instead. I also subbed turkey smoked sausage. I think we will add more veggies next time and serve with cornbread.

Spinach Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
I enjoyed making this recipe. The end result looked and smelled wonderful. The only change I made was the type of onion I used. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the flavors could be enhanced a little more. My boys suggested adding chicken next time. Great recipe that I can tweek to our tastes.

Corn Dog Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
If you have kids, you can't go wrong here. Mine loved it! Also, you can't mess this one up. I only had half the milk, so the other half I used chicken broth. I only had 1 pkg of turkey dogs, so we threw in some turkey bacon too. I added cream corn also. Great recipe to experiment with.

Pineapple Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I tried this recipe out on my family for Christmas dinner. Not everyone loved it, but those that did, want me to make it again. I will definitely reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe next time.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
Thank you for this wonderful recipe! I have never prepared a whole chicken before, but I decided to try this recipe for Christmas dinner since my 12 year old son doesn't eat ham or turkey. The only change that I made was I purchased a much larger chicken to feed my family. It turned out just as wonderful as all the reviews said it would. Tender, juicy, and very well received by my holiday guests.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
This is the BEST banana bread I have ever made! The weight of this loaf is unbelievable! I made mini loaves and give them as Christmas presents to my co-workers. I made a few batches exactly as the recipe stated and a few with nuts and nutmeg. Both were praised heavily!

Pineapple Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
This bread as made by the recipe is bland. I will try it in the future and try to doctor it up with more pineapple and maybe some cream cheese.
