Shepherd's Pie VI
Fantastic! I was short on potatoes, so I added a couple garnet yams to the mashed potato layer. It made it orange, but was really tasty. Opted for frozen mixed veggies instead of the mashed carrots (especially since there were yams in my potatoes), and added worchestshire sauce as recommended by others as well as some gravy helper. Topped it with Smoked Beechers Flagship cheese which really added a whole new level to all the flavors. On day three of leftovers and still excited for my lunch today!

Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche
I agree with others, some of the ingredient amounts are way off. I used Simply Potatoes which worked well and saved the step of defrosting the hashbrowns and water extraction. I ended up doubling the cheese, eggs, and cream. Also there were no seasonings in the recipe, so I added salt, pepper, paprika, and a dash of nutmeg. The best part is really the hashbrown crust. Gluten free!!

Pumpkin Chiffon Pie
Pretty much the same recipe as my Grandmother's Betty Crocker cook book from the 1950s! You do want your pumpkin mixture to cool until it's just warm so you don't end up with your egg whites cooking into solid clumps before you can get them folded together. My favorite pie!
