Pecan Pie V
Absolutely fantastic pecan pie! Love it! I made it yesterday morning and it is almost gone. I have a small container for a fried as well ( otherwise I think I would eat the whole pie ). My daughter loves it too and I can't wait to make it again. Used just under the 1/4c white sugar but left everything else the same. Cooked 10 mins on 165 ( forced fan oven ) and then reduced cooking time to 30 mins on 140 degrees. Had to cover about 20 mins into the last part of cooking to prevent edges from getting too dark. Still turned out perfect! Will make again and again, smiles! This is the 2nd time I am rating this recipe again 5 stars. I have made it twice now with macadamia nuts and it is beautiful. A fab recipe for both pecan or macadamia pie. Love them both. I always get asked for the recipe or to bring a pie along to a get together....... YUMMY!!

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce
Great recipe! I used just under 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and added it after I sauteed the peppers and garlic. I used 1.5 large red peppers, 1 cup light sour cream, 1/2 chicken stock and I added in some grilled chicken breast from last night. A wonderful meal. It still has a bit of bite with the slightly under 1/2 tsp added to the recipe. We had it with noodles and a garden salad, delicious! A keeper recipe for me and my family. Very easy and very tasty. We will make it again :o)

Toll House Pie I
I thought this pie was pretty good. I didn't know what to expect at first as I have never heard of it or made it before. It is very very sweet but very yummy so I can see why so many reviewers suggest a scoop of ice cream ( it would compliment and offset the sweetness of the pie :o)I used 1 c. of chocolate melts and a cup of crumbled walnuts. I started baking the pie at 145 ( forced fan oven ) and turned down the temp to 130 after 30 mins as the pie was already looking done. I ended up baking it for 36 mins in total and I would say it was completely done at that time. Top was nice and the bottom was nice ( not too dark ). It is a sort of gooey pie - a pass between a pecan pie but also tasting like a chocolate chip cookie. Next time I would cook the pie the same way or decrease the start time to 130 and bake it longer, maybe 40-45 mins and see how it goes. A very rich and tasty pie.
