About this Cook
When entertaining, everyone knows they are my "guinea pig" for the evening. Some dishes are tried and true, some are experiments!
My favorite things to cook
I love duck and I absolutely love lamb. Sometimes it's hard to get my "guinea pigs" to experiment with me and try different things.
My cooking tragedies
One Thanksgiving I had over 45 family members over and my sweet aunt went and chopped up all the celery ahead of time for the stuffing. I forgot to put it in! The dryest stuffing we ever had!

Five-Spice Chicken Wings
These were wonderful! Can't wait to make for next gathering. I followed recipe to the letter and marinated the wings overnight. These were really good; not sure they had to be in a 425 for 45 minutes tho. I tossed thin sliced cabbage with a little sesame oil, rice vinegar and chopped peanuts and that was the "bed" for our plates for dinner! Great flavor!

Honey Orange Cornish Hens
This was the first time I have prepared cornish hens. I liked the flavor and was so easy. The "glaze" you brush on hens was quite runny; not a glaze at all. Overall, this was a flavorful and easy weeknight dinner. Thanks!
