Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2013
Easy to make, and wonderfully seasoned. My husband now insists we have this at LEAST twice a month and even my picky eater enjoys it. Thanks for the keeper!

Sweet Dijon Basa Swai Fish (or a fish of your choice)

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
As everyone said, way too sweet. I will try it with less honey and more spices, especially mustard. Very good, though.

Best Black Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2013
It's very decent. I would probably use a lot less cayenne pepper next time or the kids won't even try it ~ but I will definitely make again. I need more beans in my life >

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
I must have made it wrong. I did not care for this recipe at all. I don't think I'll try again. :( Still stuck with box mixes.

Garlic Alfredo Tilapia

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2011
This was amazing! I loved it! The kids loved it! Even the husband joved it! KEEPING THIS RECIPE. Thanks so much for posting it! My husband was bored of my usual tilapia and when I found this I just had to try it! I had to make my own creole seasoning (from this site of course) and made my own "easy" alfredo sauce (from this site also) and it was literally the best thing I've eaten in a long, LONG time.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This is the best meatloaf I have ever had hands down! I followed the other reviewers such as the worchestershire sauce and sauteing the onions beforehand. I might cook it for just a bit longer as I use a little more beef than it called for. Excellent!!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
This was good - wasn't great. If the kids and the husband enjoy it and I make it again I will try a lot less basil, more pepper and maybe some garlic salt.

Creamy Chocolate Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
This was my first time ever making cupcakes so I'm sure I did something wrong, but this recipe didn't work for me. They tasted like eggs. 2nd time I made them I was very careful about the amounts and directions and still I really did not care for them. I'll keep looking for my keeper cupcake recipe.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
For myself personally I would've given it 3 stars - way too much buter, too many eggs and I had to use twice as much cracker crumbs. Porkchops are great by themselves anyway so I won't say I didn't LIKE it - mostly it just had way too much of a buttery taste and I don't like butter. But my husband and my kids just LOVED it! They want it in our regular rotation. So I averaged it out to a four-star review. :D

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
These are absolutely amazing. I followed other's advice and added orange juice instead of water. These literally melted in my mouth! My new favorite ginger cookie - it's a keeper!

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
Very good! Mine had the consisency of peanut butter cookies which I loved and I adored the rolling around in cinnamon sugar! Something the kids can help make! And they taste great also! Great recipe! I'm keeping this one!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
This was very good! I would say if you are using wild and very tart berries go ahead and use the total amount of sugar recommended here. I also used a 9 x 13 baking dish as I didn't have an iron skillet and I might make a little more topping next time. My kids loved it and I enjoyed it also. Good combo of tart and sweet!

Hot Dog Creole

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Pretty Good! My kids loved it so I'm keeping this recipe around! We had wayyyyeee too many hot dogs and we couldn't just have mac N cheese w/ hotdogs or hot dogs in buns every night! This recipe caught my eye and I gave it a try. My kids came back for thirds! A nice, simple recipe that's not over the top and a beginner cook like myself can do it! (I used frozen bell peppers and served this with noodles and veggies on the side)

Tilapia Scampi

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I was worried because I was doubling the recipe - cooking for 7 people - and I only had four cloves of garlic. But I made it and it is SO GOOD that I can't stop eating it! There isn't going to be any leftovers! By far the best recipe I've found so far. Nice and light and doesn't cover up the delicate taste of the fish. Excellent!!!!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
I needed a fast and easy recipe for biscuits since my husband wanted them and we didn't have any mix or refridgerator kind. I found this and I LOVED it! They were good even without the sauce! (We made biscuits & gravy). Awesome!!
