Ranch Bean Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
I made this the way the recipe calls for and it was great. But what made it better was adding a cup of sliced olives and some 1 small can of diced chilies. I also added a little bit of hot sauce for some added heat. Tasted almost like a 7 layer bean dip, but with the cooling taste of ranch! :)

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This dish is delicious! :) I used what I had on hand and based on the custom versions. I used fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breast and cut them in cubes like the original recipe called for. I sauteed them with olive oil then sprinkled in some garlic powder, dried basil leaves, salt and pepper. I let it cook until they were all white and then added in the frozen broccoli (1lb). I turned off the stove and let the broccoli thaw in with the cooked chicken. Then, I put it in a baking dish. Then, in a separate bowl, i mixed in a can of cream of mushroom and chicken soup, 1/3 cup of sour cream (all i had left) and the 1/3 cup milk. I sprinkled in some poultry seasoning and spread it all over the broccoli/chicken mix. Added in the cheese and bread crumb/butter mix and baked as it called for in the recipe. I partnered this dish with some biscuits and called it tuesday night special :) Thanks for sharing!!!! :)

Hazel's Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
I love this recipe. I skipped the sauce part and just used the meatball recipe. Instead of just plain cracker crumbs, I added to that some herbs de provence, parsley flakes, red onion, worcestershire sauce and some salt and pepper. I kept everything else the same and they turned out phenomenal. I just added some spaghetti sauce and threw them on a french baguette, voila! Meatball sandwich!!!! :)

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
DELICIOUS!!!!! It was a huge success! I placed the batter into two round cake pans (I should have used a springform pan) but it turned out really well. I then used Betty Crocker Buttercream frosting for the writing and melted some dark chocolate to drizzle over the cake. I then placed vanilla bean ice cream inbetween them to make a super ice cream sandwich. My boyfriend was truly pleased and surprised!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This was a great recipe. I just need to remember not to purchase store brand pudding mix. It made my pie textured which I don't expect out of a cream pie. I also need to make a smaller batch with the peanut butter, I put too much and it took over the chocolate flavor. But overall it's really great!

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
Very yummy! My family and I made a giant batch so I had to add the half and half and steak seasoning according to texture and taste. I garnished this with rosemary, paprika and black pepper. It's delish! Can't wait to pair it up with the turkey!!!!!
