Savory Breakfast Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
Very nice, well-formed muffin. I used applesauce and bacon drippings, rather than oil and butter. Added some canned chili peppers & a little cheese.

Peanut Butter Cup Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
I made these years ago, but had forgotten! They're excellent! I had no problems whatsoever, but for those who had trouble 'cuz the peanut butter didn't spread easily, you could use creamy p-butter and grind up a few salted peanuts and sprinkle over the top of the whole thing..problem solved!

Vegetable Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
I used brown rice, just because I always do for health reasons. Added finely chopped carrots and a Jalepeno pepper + an egg at the end, and about 2T lemon juice to brighten it up. VERY good!!! Will make again!

Monkey Bread Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
very good tasting. was perhaps a bit more of the brown sugar / butter mixture than I needed, but very pretty and tasty! (I also made a tube into garlic/onion/ s&p with butter drizzled on top - those too turned out very good. Am anxious to make other combinations

Really Good Snack Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Good idea ~ only put things in that the folks want to munch! Loved it and I only added a few extra herbs; cumin, dill, and a little thyme.

Pesto Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This is tasty. As others mentioned, it's too dry. I added mushrooms, cream cheese, and a little plain yogurt and 1/2&1/2. It was still rather dry, but the pesto flavor is excellent. A great addition to my lunchbox for work!

Rhubarb Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This was a good recipe. I made it in a 9x13 pan and baked an extra 9 min. ... worked fine for me. Also, added a couple grates of nutmeg, as someone else suggested - added yummy flavor.

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
Very tasty! I doubled the recipe and used a cookie sheet w/ edges to bake. It seemed that I had a lot of filling ingredients to spread over the biscuits, but I took it to a work breakfast party and it was gobbled up! Will make again.

Stir Fried Snow Peas and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
Made this tonight - excellent! Although recipe stood it's ground as posted, of course, I didn't have all ingredients, so improvised. Used mushrooms, snow peas, and water chestnuts stir fried in butter and a bit of olive oil, garlic powder, few hot pepper flakes, salt and pepper. The taste was awesome and it was so fast and easy! I will make again. Might even add some other ingredients then.

This recipe is awesome. Used boneless, skinless chicken breasts, baked in oven rather than fry. Turned out great - everyone loves it!!! So do I!!!
