Baked Ziti I

I couldn't find ziti at my supermarket so I used mini penne, which to me was just as good. However, I would change the way it is layered. After the noddles I would put the sauce on top because by putting the cheese (especially sliced cheese) on top of the noodles the sauce didn't really reach it and my bottom layer was just noodle that has to be mixed in. I didn't really care for this but I suppose thats my fault because I should have expected this to be creamy because of the sour cream and I wasn't looking for creamy. However, my husband devoured like three bowls which is why it got four stars. So overall, I would just make sure your sauce gets to the noodles by changing the order and this will be pretty tasty (as long as you like sour cream and want a creamy texture)

French Toast II

I have to say this french toast is pretty good with syrup. Without the syrup, and even kind of with it, it doesnt offer a whole lot of flavor. Next time I might add a little more cinnamon to give it a little more flavor. Will make this again.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

My 89 and 90 year old grandparents found it delightful. My grandpa can tell this is a real homemade cheesecake none of that store bought . The crust doesnt crumble and its delicious......and my grandma (who is blind and cant walk and has alzheimers at 90, bless her heart) couldnt have been happier. She said "its very "smooth" and she wanted more. Of course my brother wanted another one, so i added mini chocolate chips into the second one and he loved it. So, all in all my family is very satisfied. The only thing I didnt like is the chocolate chip one cracked and im not sure why. I think next time instead of buttering the edges and bottom I might use parchment paper along the sides and bottom and hope this prevents it from cracking. Might have been the extra ingredient though because the first one turned out beautifully!! Just to add when I made this the first time and cut into it it was really runny. I always refrigerate it now overnight after it sits in the oven for 6 hours. I think that may have been the problem because I havent had a problem since.
