GREAT recipe! I used applesauce instead of the oil and it came out very moist and delicious! Definitely a keeper!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
This was AWESOME! It was very easy to make and the chicken was very tender and tasteful. I used this for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. I used a few pieces of crushed garlic in the pan as well. Very yummy.

Peanut Butter Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
This recipe is DELICIOUS! I make it exactly as specified. I usually chop up some peanut butter cups for the top. I've had a ton of great comments on this. I'm not a big peanut butter pie fan but this one I do love!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
AWESOME! So moist and delicious! I made a slightly more healthy version. I used used one cup of wheat flour in place of one cup of regular. I also used 2 cups of sugar and a half cup of honey. In place of the oil I used all applesauce. Definitely a keeper! The muffins turned out fluffy and tasty! Perfect for fall. Next time around I'll use the exact same recipe but add some cranberries. Mmmmm!

Caribbean Delight

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This recipe is really great! I was afraid it would be too tart with all the lime juice and vinegar but it was perfect! One word of caution, the curry will turn your plastic bowls yellow... :-) The chicken had a nice tangy flavor to it though; great grilled with some pineapple! I served it on shish-kabobs! It was a huge hit!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
I was really skeptical about mixing the teriyaki sauce with the ranch sauce but once again, Allrecipes did not fail me! Based on the reviews, I just had to try this recipe and it was DELICIOUS! I didn't fry the chicken first, just threw it in the over. The chicken was moist and VERY savory! I don't recommend adding any additional salt or seasonings because the mixture of sauces along with the bacon (I used bacos real bacon bits) made it pretty salty. I also think that mixing the ranch and the teriyaki was a good idea. All in all, a fabulous recipe. I'll be making again very soon! Perfect for company - something a little different to serve. The only thing I think I'd change is the name. :-) I think I'll dub this, "loaded baked potato chicken".

Spicy Spaghetti Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
This recipe is really, really good! I was looking for something different and I found just that! I don't think it would quite satisfy a pasta craving, as the squash has a very different texture, but it was still delicious! AND, it's good for you! Can't beat that. Served with some homemade bread. I'll def be making this again.

Sweet Potato-Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
This recipe is really good! It is very sweet... we topped it with pumpkin butter which made it a 5 star! I suppose apple butter could also be used but it made it really, really good!
