Yummy Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
Great recipe! I made this last night and I'm eating leftovers for lunch right now. The only problem I had was finding a can of diced green chile peppers. To tell the truth, I'm not even really sure what those are. Instead, I used half a fresh green bell pepper. The results were "Yummy" indeed.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I've cooked a bunch of recipes from All Recipes, but I think this is my favorite! I used the apple juice/ soy sauce marinade suggested by TERRI MCDANIEL and let chops soak overnight. I cooked the meat on the grill and did the apples in a pan as described in the recipe. Came out great! I'll definitely be making this again.

Simply Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
Thanks for this really simple recipe. Everyone who had some loved it. My dish was a bit wider so I used 4 shells across. Other than that I stuck pretty close to the recipe.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
So easy, and so tasty! I pulled the chicken out at the end, shredded it, then back into the sauce. I used a couple tablespoons of corn starch to thicken up the sauce, and added a bit more sour cream (mixed into the sauce). After all ingredients marinated in a warm slow cooker for awhile I piled the shredded chicken into soft taco shells. Yum! Makes great leftovers too.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
Great recipe! I used a bag of raw frozen large shrimp. Thawed out the shrimp under running water, peeled them, then cooked til opaque in the wok. I also doubled the sauce and added a bag sugar snap peas that I prepared in the microwave and threw in the wok at the end of cooking.

Mongolian Beef I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
I thought this was really delicious and fun to make. I made it with extra sauce so I could have plenty to soak up with white rice. I let it reduce a long time with the beef and I think this helped tenderize the meat more.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
I love doing slow cooker chili. It's so easy. Here's the things I did differently: 1 larger can of kidney beans (19oz I believe) instead of two cans, added a can of corn, added two jalapenos, added a little more red pepper flakes, subtracted one can of tomato soup, added a half can of water for moisture. Came out great! My fiance said it was too spicy but I like it that way. She's able to eat it with some bread on the side.

Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This was fantastic! As suggested by others I combined the egg and milk together to measure 1 Cup. I also put a layer of Italian-Seasoned Bread Crumbs over the top for added flavor and texture. I used 8oz of macaroni (half a 1 pound box). Aside from the mozzarella I shredded all the cheeses myself.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
I used the ingredient modifications suggested by Tmom. Cooking was made simple by using my deep fryer. I let it cook until the chicken was a dark brown color and it came out moist and delicious!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I think I made them a little too big, or maybe didn't let them cool long enough, because the bottoms fell out of my cookies when I tried to big them up. Did I need to poke them with a fork? Maybe my shape was too round from the start. I don't know!

I'm new to cooking and I found this to be very simple. I took it out of the oven after about 25 minutes. It tasted great and my girlfriend was impressed!
