Spinach and Strawberry Salad

I make this but use red wine vinegar instead of white, add the juice of a whole lemon, my family calls it the "pink lemonade dressing". A great salad for a hot summer day!

Monte Cristo Sandwich

I was looking for a quick dinner and didnt want french toast or grilled cheese, and I had seen this on diner menus, so I figured it had to be ok.. It was really good! It didnt come out as pretty as I had hoped, but next time I go to the diner I will order this to check it out and perfect my sandwich!

Pepper Jelly Appetizer

I love this! You can buy the jelly from the store, or I make my own from this site..."Hot Pepper Jelly". So yummy & easy, but it looks pretty fancy!

Colossal Caramel Apple Trifle

They are not kidding when they named this Colossal! I mae this for a bridal luncheon, My Pampred Chef Trifle bowl was filled and had another bowl for the hubby! Very easy, yummy & pretty and a great alternative for people who don't like chocolate!! Will make again, and again, and probably again!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

My husband is so sick of this because I make it every Sunday and I take it to work for lunch all week. Probably the Easiest & my FAVORITE recipe on this site! The only changes I make-I use real chicken breast, and I add a can of green chilies & Kidney beans.

Bourbon Chicken

My brother requested this for his birthday dinner, so went to the store to get Bourbon and they only had huge bottles, the store owner suggested that I try a smaller bottle of Brandy, I made this recipe with a 1/4 cup of Brandy and it was amazing, I have made it about 4 times now & need to go back to the store to get more alcohol but since I did so well with the Brandy I am going to stick with it! This is now going on Heavy rotation in our house!!!

Thank you so much for making a thriftier version of a favorite! I love that my freinds love this, but I cringe when they ask me to bring the orignial to a party, epsically when its "off season". I can't wait to try this!!!!

Hot Spiced Cranberry Cider

Yummy!!! Made this for movie night w/ the girls, coulnt find apple cider so I used apple juice, and instead of the lemons I used oranges. Isnt a drink that I could drink a lot of (very spicy), but just a cup full was enough to warm me up!! I have made this 4 times in the 3 weeks that I found this recipe!

Delicious Easy Chicken Francese

This was very good! My husband isnt a fan of lemon so I only used one (wish I would have used the other, I love lemon).I thought it was a great light sauce, he said it was just ok, he likes bold flavors, but he said as long as I dont mind him adding stuff to it, he would eat it again. I surved it with linguini and garlic bread! I will be making again!

Easy Minute Steaks

I am not a cube steak person, but they were on sale & I figured it was would be something different. I found this recipe, I took the advice of another reviewer and added cream of mushroom soup to it..OH MY YUMMY was it good! It was so tender you could cut it w/ a fork. The entire family was so happy and the gravy it made was so good over potatoes!

Easy Vodka Sauce

This was great! I didnt have exact engredents on hand so I had to make some changes, I used garlic instead of onion and diced tomatoes instead of what was called for. This came out so good, even the 4 year was happy!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Great quick sauce, I added grated garlic instead of the powder and used 1/2 parmsean cheese and 1/2 Bogart (a cheese my husbands farm makes & sells). I am going to make sure I always have cream cheese on hand so I can make this on a night when I get home late.

Candied Chicken Breasts

This was sooooooooo good! I used the pineapple juice in place of the water, and cut up the pineapple and added to the chicken. Surved over rice, just as good, if not better than General Tso's chicken from the local Chinese place!
