Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
Changes: black beans, garlic powder - all I had. Added carrots, used red onion instead of white and doubled the cumin (preference) I started simmering the tomatoes and beans while I sauteed the onion in the Olive oil then added the ground Turkey. I seasoned the turkey with the spices and then transferred to tomato and bean summer. Absolutely delicious. Will make often.

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I made one change that I am sure is not necessary. Instead of regular milk I used evaporated milk, exact measurements but the milk mixture half water half evaporated milk. This was a great recipe. I was a little bit nervous about the sugar but it came out fabulously. Not too sweet. I used a dark pan and I had to move the pan from the middle rack to the top rack at 22 minutes. I will definitely save this recipe to use again!

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe. I used one tablespoon of olive oil instead for the butter and squeezzed fresh lemon on once it was done. Fabulous!

Broccoli Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
I added an onion and used brown rice. This was delicious. I only pureed half so I would have some texture. As with any recipe I added salt and pepper to taste. Will make again.

Turkey-Lentil Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
I made this as a soup so I just added more liquid. I used a combination of broth, vegetable, beef and chicken. I did not have the turmeric or the yogurt. This was DELICIOUS, EASY and QUICK. Will make again often.

Southern Style Pig Tails

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
I wasn't sure what to do with the garlic so I boiled it along with the pig tails. The pig tails came out exactly the way they did in picture, however the meat had no taste. I am not sure how to improve the taste.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
I have never made stuffed peppers before but this recipe was really easy and tasty. I seasoned the ground beef earlier in the day to ensure that the beef was flavorful. I used more dry herbs such as onion, garlic, and italian seasoning and I used tomatoes that had onion and garlic in them already and it was delicious. My husband and I never had them before and we both enjoyed the leftovers.
