Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This was really good! I used whole wheat noodles and it still tasted great. I thought there it was a little heavy on the breadcrums so I'll half those the next time I make it...but will definitely make it again!

Sparkling Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This was awesome. I made it for a babyshower so I used grape juice and club soda but it was still excellent. Easy to make. Looks pretty in the bowl and Super refreshing.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This just never turned out very good for me. The dough on the bottom wasn't done enough and they were only good warm. They tasted OK but after trying this a couple times, I think I will look for something else.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This was awesome! I used blue cheese dressing and franks red hot buffalo sauce. I used shredded cheese and there was a layer of grease. The next time I make this, I will try grating my own cheese to see if that helps. Either way it tasted great - I brought it to a party and it was a big hit!

Chocolate Chip Cookies for Special Diets

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I am a cookie LOVER but am trying to cut back on calories so I was so excited when I found this recipe. I read the reviews and took the advice of others to make this more 'regular' cookie-like but was very disappointed. They were dry and tasteless even with the modifications others suggested. This might be OK for people who aren't cookie lovers, but for those of us who know a good cookie-this recipe isn't going to cut it.

Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This is a fantastic, easy recipe. I followed the advice of others and used diced tomatoes undrained and put the marinade from the artichokes in so it would not be dry. Next time I might use a little less because it did get a little runny but that is my only complaint!

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I don't even like grilled cheese sandwiches and these were awesome! I took the advice of others and made a butter garlic sauce to spread on them prior to cooking. I used a griddle and they came out great. Paired with some tomato soup these are a winner!

Chili Dog Casserole I

This is an awesome recipe. Impossible to screw up and easy to experiment with. I've already made it a couple of times and plan to keep in my "easy and awesome" file. Thanks!

Chocolate Sandwich Cookies II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
These didn't do it for me. I used two boxes of german chocolate cake and per the advice of others trimmed down the powdered suger to about 1 1/2 cups. I thought these lacked taste and there wasn't enough cream cheese frosting. My husband really like them so I will probably experiment with different cake flavors to see if that makes a difference.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I thought this was great. I took the advice of others and used olive oil instead of butter and 1/2 a cup of milk instead of 1 cup. Turned out perfect. Next time, to appease my husband, I will use a 8 oz of spinach and add some sausage to make it a little heartier.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
I made this last night for myself and my husband. I read serveral reviews and used a lot of those suggests. I used 2 cans of cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom and milk instead of mayo. I made the stuffing and then mixed the chicken, broc, and soup mix together. Put the cheese on top of that and the stuffing on top of that, then breadcrumbs. It was really good! I'm new in the dinner cooking department (save speghetti and mac and cheese!) and my husband actually like it! We did decide that the next time we try this, we will mkae a couple changes. 2 boxes of stuffing for sure (I know someone already suggested that) and maybe a different kind of soup. The chicken was really strong. I would also add some garlic. A great start though! Thanks for this recipe.
