Whipped Cauliflower

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I'm dairy free so I used soy milk instead of the fat free milk and I did not care for it. It may be the soy milk taste, but this was not a suitable substitution for mashed potatoes in my opinion

Strange But True Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I made this for friends that visited for the weekend. I made some substitutions. I used 1.5 cloves of chopped garlic instead of minced, and used bow tie noodles (1.5-2.5 cups) and some spaghetti sauce (26 ounces) that I had in the cupboard instead. I also used stove top stuffing crumbs because it is also something easier to have on hand or buy individual serving for.

Golden Wedding Punch

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I love this punch, with some changes. I used 1 and a quarter lemon juice and 5 smashed bananas, and 6 cups of water. I froze everything together and then poured 7 up on the mixture a few hours before serving.

Chocolate Buttermilk Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
I do not like heating chocolate on the stove because of the high risk of burning. I microwaved all the chocolate mixtures, starting with 30 seconds, then in 10 second increments. Overall this cake was tasty. The icing needs to be refrigerated because it is really thin and smooth.

I subsituted real mustard and crushed garlic, and it tasted delicious. This is the best egg salad I have had!

Mrs. Fields Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
These are the best sugar cookies I've made in a long time. I used 1 cup all purpose flour and 1 cup wheat flour, and added 1/4 cup of sugar. My dough wasn't sticky, just needed a little flour on the working area.
