I made this recipe exactly as written. Like other reviewers have noted, it's not very sweet but does have just enough to know it's still frosting. It fluffs up into nice stiff peaks and looks beautiful. I left mine at room temperature for about an hour while waiting for the cake to cool completely & it still went on well. It didn't work very well as a filler between the 2 layers of my round cake because it compressed a bit & oozed out the sides. Overall it was a nice complement to my chocolate cake.
