Crescent Dogs
These bring out the kid in me!!! I love them! I do use white american cheese as that is my familiy's preference. I also HEAT my dogs up in the microwave as to help cook the inside of the crescent roll. They tend to come out doughy sometimes and the outside is already heating them up it solves the 'gooey' problem. Carefullly add cheese AFTER heating your dog!!! Just a little tip for works!! It's like heating pie filling before adding to an unbaked helps to cook the crust...

Emergency Garlic Bread
Our church served these quite often with pasta dishes when we would have fellowship dinners after service. I had forgot all about them as we moved and no longer attend that church. My go to's for day old or leftover bread/buns is usually homemade bread crumbs, croutons or bread pudding...I will be using this simply pleasing recipe as well now that I remember it!! how could I forget such an easy-cheap and great tasting recipe???? Hmmmm....good question.... The church ladies also added shredded cheese to about half of them and left the other half plain for those who don't or can't eat cheese. I will be making these tonight as I have eggplant parmesan....( from this site) that I made late last night ready to go in the oven for dinner. i came on here to look for a quick recipe for garlic bread to accompany my dinner as I don't have any and the nearest store to me is 25 miles ( i live in the boonies on Table rock Lake)....and found this one. I will make a homemade garlic bread spread with some herbs and seasonings and top the little " french breads" with an italian cheese blend and then broil until light golden and bubbly!! Another reviewer suggested serving these with sloppy joes....I have some leftover burger buns as well and will pt sloppy Joes on the menu for NFL sunday coming up this weekend !! These would also be a great base for a meatball sub.... I gave it a 5 for the ease-low cost and versatility of the recipe.

Lobster Newburg
OMG!!!! Could a simple recipe get any better??? I say "no".....This baby carries a WOW factor!!! I made as directed with the exception of adding a bit of sauted fresh chopped spinach and small amount of red pepper for some color. I served this DELISHIOUS recipe in phllo dough cups which I made in my muffin tin along side a beautiful med rare ribeye steak which I blackened prior to grilling. The combination of the richness of the lobster newburg and the heat of the blackened steak was a definate winner!!! Will most definately make again and play around with the versatility of ways to serve this recipe. Next timme I am considering incorporating crab and scallops and tripling the sauce and making a nice seafood lasagna........Oh My... I am so drooling on my keyboard!!!!!! LOL!
