Blue Cheese, Avocado, and Grape Salad

YUMMY! One of my favorite salads! One tiny thing...it needs some texture so don't forget the sunflower seeds! I use ranch but I am going to try blue cheese now. THANKS for the great idea!~ :)

Chewy Sugar Cookies

These tasted marvelous but I didn't like them because they ran all over the cookie sheet and all the cookies ran together. i don't know if it was something I did but I followed the recipe exactly.

Javi's Really Real Mexican Ceviche

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I love this....I make it without seafood as well just to have a light dinner. I serve all the veggies on a tostada (hard fried corn tortilla). I also add a few TBLS of clamato rather than olive oil. I omit the peppers because I don't like them but this is s delicious meal and very healthy.

Savory Onion Corn Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
I just use the recipe on the corn mean box rather than use a mix and add your ingredients! GREAT! Also, I just cook it right in the cast iron skillet rather than dirty another dish...(I hate doing dishes!) Thanks for this recipe!~ :)

Lemon Sugar Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
I have been looking for a good lemon/orange cookie recipe for a long time! This cookie is also excellent as ORANGE sugar cookies! I just added a couple of tsp. of orange zest and orange extract plus a little orange juice. I also added just a pinch of salt to the dough to bring out the flavors. LOVE IT! Thanks... Judy ¤

Chicken and Peppers with Balsamic Vinegar

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
I use this exact recipe (almost) for fajitas! It is so delicious. The only thing I do different is I use soy sauce rather than balsamic vinegar....which I am going to try now thank you very much! I warm a flour tortilla with a little cheese in the microwave for 15 seconds and then add this mixture and top with sour cream.....SO DELICIOUS!!! Great with beef too and even with no meat...on those meatless nights I use rice instead.

Roasted Garlic

Nothing like roasted garlic! But, I just learned that this can be done in the microwave! Super quick and easy. Done the same way with olive oil but in way less time! :)

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
This was excellent!! I always use tons of garlic and I added chopped parsley to the cream cheese (made my own) as well as a little basil and italian seasoning. I also just poured the melted butter (added tarragon, parsley, garlic salt and lemon thyme to butter before melting in micro) over the top rather than dip both sides in. My husband was thrilled with this and we make it all the time now. This is a very versatile recipe and can be changed up many different ways! Thanks for this great recipe! :)

One of my husband's all time favorites! I do not use meat but it's delicious with my home cooked pinto beans instead.
