Chicken Pot Pie IX
Delicious! I used rotisserie turkey breast. I sauteed the onion and celery. I omitted the carrot. Mushrooms would be a good addition. The turkey was pretty salty so I didn't add additional salt although I did use celery salt in place of celery seed. I also added garlic powder and poultry seasoning for added flavor. I followed the rest of the recipe as written. I made my own pie crust. I didn't have any issue with it not being juicy enough. Will definitely make again.

Hamburger Casserole
I made this for dinner tonight and had to list my review right away. I did make a few changes out of necessity. I browned 1 lb ground beef and drained, added 1 chopped onion and 2 stalks chopped celery and cooked until tender. Added the taco seasoning packet, 1 cup of water, 1 can of black beans(drained),1 can of Mexican flavored Rotel with the juice, I skipped the corn because I didn't have any. I used white rice in place of the noodles and mixed it in with the ground meat mixture, put in a greased baking dish, topped with shredded cheese and baked for 20 minutes at 350. Served with avocado, sour cream and chopped cilantro. Yum! I would have hit it with a squeeze of lime if I had any.

American-Italian Pasta Salad
Love love love! Did I mention I love this recipe? I sub penne because my family prefers it to fusilli. I bought a large thick slice of salami from the deli counter and then cube it myself. I make this for almost every family gathering (picnic, bbq, graduation, 4th of July) and everyone loves it.
